Over my 40+ years with Humana, held numerous positions from entry level to management.
Began career in the hospital business office. In 1984 was offered an opportunity along with 2 other hospital employees to join forces with 3 employees from insurance companies. Our mission was to collectively write policies and procedures for processing and paying medical claims. Humana successfully paid its first claim in February 1985. The company at the time I left had over 50,000 employees.
