Register patients being admitted into the hospital or receiving outpatient or ER treatments by obtaining appropriate demographic, insurance and medical information. Provide estimates for services, if applicable; receive and process patient financial liability payments for current and past balances. Supports management and performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and philosophy of White River Medical Center.

• Enhanced communication among departments by providing clear updates on patient registration statuses.

Assist patients through the registration process, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and managing patient information for scheduled and unscheduled visits. Key duties include being the first point of contact, collecting and verifying demographic and insurance data, completing financial clearance, scheduling appointments, and providing customer service.
