Extracurricular Activities
I have participated on the Girls Golf and Swim team at Pleasant Valley High school. I have been apart of the swim team for 4 years. My senior year I was a captain and helped lead our team through an accomplished season. In being a captain I learned important leadership qualities. I strived to be a role model for the younger girls on my team and was recognized for my uplifting and positive attitude. Our team had two a days 2-3 days a week with an early morning practice beginning at 5:30 am. This sport took hard work and dedication which are skills I carry with me today.
