  • Model Technician: Read prescriptions and dentist specifications, examined models, impressions and scans in order to determine quality of future dental restorations. Created models: Poured impressions, cleaned, based and mounted models - established accurate bites using articulators to mimic excursive movements of patients' jaw. Based and mounted digital prints of patients' jaw. Used implant parts such as analogs, ti-bases, screws, screw drivers and soft-tissue to establish accurate implant restorations.   • Wax Technician - Fabricated porcelain-fused-to-metal wax units, full-contoured gold crowns and lithium disilicate crowns using wax pens and various waxes. Set units up in wax rings in order to transition to their various material types.
  • Scanner - Set cases up in software using assigned case pan number, patient name and tooth number using digital entry in order to scan each maxillary and mandibular arch for digital design. Used various scan software to accurately capture each arch and implant positions.
  • Digital Designer - Used digital design software and collaborated with dentists to establish accurate and customized digital restorations such as crowns, bridges, wax-ups and implant restorations. Kept in regular communication via email / phone calls with dentists to ensure accuracy and turnaround times.
  • Implant Technician - Assisted in inventory control by communicating with multiple implant companies to ensure all cases had the necessary parts and pieces needed for fabricating implant restorations. Checked in implant cases by evaluating impressions and scans to ensure an accurate product could be made. Assisted in quality control by checking crowns and bridges on various implant parts, adding part numbers to patient records, and documenting all emails and phone calls. Continuously contacted dentists to ensure all accurate implant information was provided in order to proceed with their patient's case. Used patience and professionalism to ensure a good working relationship with our dentists. Addressed any concerns promptly.
