My professional healthcare journey begin in high school when I enrolled in a Certified Nursing Assistant course, became certified and began working as a CNA on a lock down alzheimers unit at a nursing home. After graduating college with my Associates in Nursing, I began an internship as a CVCU nurse where I continued to work for 2 years. After staying at home with my two children for four years, I attended a Functional Medicine Health and Wellness Coaching program and became a certified Functional Medicine Health and Wellness Coach. I built my own coaching business and practiced as a coach for two years while staying home with my two children. Now that I have completed my Bachelors in nursing, I am in the process of obtaining my Masters in Nursing as APRN. My children are in school full time now and I would love to get back by the bed side caring for patients and using the knowledge that I have acquired over the years.
