  • Treated musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and neuromuscular deficits/injury including chronic pain, radiculopathies, joint/ligament replacement/reconstruction, multiple sclerosis, tendinopathies, FND, and intra-articular pathologies. Patient population was very diverse in terms of PLOF and demographics. Comorbidities included but are not limited to vestibular pathologies, cognitive deficits, seizures, heightened anxiety/depression, and cardiopulmonary/vascular issues. Communicated with multiple other healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Developed and presented an in-service project. Created and presented PowerPoint presentation that analyzed Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) etiology and clinical presentation, the most up-to-date research and clinical practice guidelines regarding physical therapy for diagnosis. Evaluated and treated one patient with rare disease beginning 18 years ago. Patient made full recovery.

  • Completed in-service project to aid in enhancing clinical knowledge, current research, and rehabilitation guidelines in regards to Facioscapulohumeral Dystrophy (FSHD): Created and presented PowerPoint presentation that analyzed FSHD etiology and clinical presentation, the most recent research and clinical practice guidelines regarding physical therapy for diagnosis, and 2 case presentations based on 2 patients that have been receiving therapy at the clinic.
