As Lead Jailer of the Alton Police Department, I oversee seven jailers and maintain custody of approximately 35 inmates, including city, county and federal. I manage the daily administrative operations of the department's Corrections Division; I ensure that the appropriate standards are met for each classification of inmates . I am responsible for monitoring and controlling inmates as well as facilitating the discharge of inmates. As our facility is unique for a city jail, I serve as a liaison between the county jail, United States Marshal Service and the court system.
As a receptionist at Serenity Title and Escrow, I was responsible for providing clients with excellent customer service. This included knowledgeably answering all client questions, processing new orders and scheduling all closing appointments. I completed clerical duties such as answering phones, filing documents and maintaining records. I also ordered mortgage payoffs prior to closing and completed final policies after closing dates.
