• I take in depth medical histories, HPIs, vitals and order testing for patients according to their needs or symptoms whether it be swabs, EKGs, or labs. I review patient's medications and allergies.
• I am allowed to perform physical exams for practice.
• I follow patients' diagnoses and treatment plans closely to provide excellent patient care and for my own training.
• I improve patient satisfaction by building rapport with them, handling queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism and educating them about medications and care plans as needed.
• I draw blood, start IV fluids, and perform ear irrigations.
• I review lab results and schedule patients that need follow up consults accordingly and discuss normal results with patients.
• I complete prior authorizations for patients' medications.
• I also manage inventory levels of medical supplies within the clinic setting, ensuring adequate stock availability for seamless daily operations.
• I also work on medical coding and billing for the same clinic after hours.
