I am a passionate and dedicated sales and marketing professional who is driven by results and customer satisfaction. I have many years of experience in various industries- most recently in the senior care and education market (10 yrs). Providing exemplary customer service and driving strong results, is my goal.
I manage the full student lifecycle from admissions through enrollment, serving as a primary point of contact for prospective and current students. I help guide prospective students through the admissions process, answering questions and providing support to drive enrollment decisions. I oversee tuition processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of student financial transactions.
Serving as a key liaison between students and the institution, I handle communications related to enrollment status, academic progress, and administrative needs and support student retention and satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns and connecting students with appropriate resources. I coordinate cross-functionally with academic and administrative staff to ensure a smooth student experience from inquiry to enrollment.
With Lamar Court, I was tasked with taking current and new leads to advance each to tour the community and agree to deposit. I was also responsible to aquire all medical records for the DON to review before assessment. Once approved to move in, I was responsible for all contracts, made sure the chosen room was ready and each had a beautiful flower arrangement and gift basket to welcome them upon arrival on day 1. I continued to support new residents by assigning them an ambassador to show them all Lamar Court has to offer. I maintain the CRM, (Enquire) and made sure each daily task is completed effectively to advance each lead forward.
With Spectrum Retirement Communities, I started at a sales representative at Park Meadows in Overland Park, where I began learning how to promote the community and it's features. After a few months of hard work, I was transferred and later promoted to Sales Director at Shawnee Hills Independent Living. When I arrived, their census was at 52% and in my time there I was able to grow them to 76%. I maintained their CRM, YGL and created weekly sales reports to track progress. I held quarterly research of surrounding competition to be sure the community's prices were competitive.
One of my greatest skills working within senior living has been my ability to build trust quickly and prove myself trustworthy by diligent follow up and fulfillment of promises made.
This has been by far my favorite type of work with seniors. I love building those relationships with the families and then, continue to assist them even after they move-in.
With APFM, I had a territory and designated accounts to which I was assigned. I went to hospitals, home health and hospice companies to see about finding viable referrals for the senior living advisors to reach out to and get them to agree to allow APFM to help them. Once I located clients, I passed them off and went back to work finding new clients. I built relationships with all of my hospitals to the point where they would call me to visit so I could meet with families and sell them on APFM's services. I am very good at building rapport quickly with people. I was able to drive new business and revive old accounts who had not referred in quite some time. I conducted needs assessments to understand client requirements and preferences. I continually developed relationships with senior living communities and referral partners.
I worked to build brand awareness and relationships within the community by holding educational seminars on senior issues within all senior centers and with some doctor's offices and senior living residences. I received professional presentation training to convey their topics with concise precision and heartfelt enthusiasm. I attended city events in order to network and I am a member of the La Canada Kiwanis and have relationships with the La Canada Chamber and the Pasadena Rotary club and the San Gabriel Fiduciary Round Table.
I worked to grow the revenue and contribute 30-39% of the total monthly revenue to come from the referral provider network, ie: home health agencies, hospice agencies, hospitals, senior independent/assisted living, memory care centers, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers and other community sources.
In the year I spent there, the Pasadena franchise was elevated to #1 in the state of California and into the top 30 in the entire world wide network. I spent a lot of time doing research on the needs of each account and keeping the CRM up to date with the proper details, including updating whatever information was incomplete. I brought in an exclusive account to work with Veteran's aide and assistance with Vet Assist and brought in new resources to provide care to more in the community with the USC Family Caregiver Resource Center.
Working independently throughout all of the San Gabriel Valley, I visited hospital discharge coordinators, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies and hospice agencies to learn about their processes and needs for home care. I built relationships with key players within those facilities to be one of the top referral sources they would send their patients to for home care services. I would then interview potential clients, either in facilities or in their homes to help access their home care needs. I would then quote them a fee based on hours and level of care needed and have an agreement signed. I would work with the office to assign the right care giver to each client and follow up to make sure the services were going smoothly.
I worked on scheduling, payroll, accounts payable, hiring and management of all care givers and made sure all files were compliant with state and federal codes.
At Lexus, I needed to know every technical and aesthetic detail of each model to better identify the right vehicle for the right person. I would bring people inside, offer a beverage and sit down to ask about what they were looking for. I would select the right vehicle and take them for test drives and if they were happy with it, we would begin to negotiate the price. I had the assistance of a sales manager to help make sure my clients received the very best price the dealership could offer. Once the decision was made, I would process the paperwork for the DMV and the title before sending the client to finance where they would purchase their dream Lexus vehicle. My first month with Lexus of Glendale, I sold 12 vehicles, including 2- to the same family, a week apart. I had clients that would visit me when bringing in their cars for routine maintenance and they would often bring me thank you gifts for helping them.
With this agency I worked with at 94 year old woman doing a 12 hr shift 4 nights a week. I was there to help her with anything she needed. I would help her with dressing, meals and medication reminders and all daily activities. Most of my time with the client was over night and it was my job to be sure she was safe when needing anything during the night. Then, preparing her morning activities to keep her strong and mobile.
