Accomplishments

While conducting traffic enforcement, I ran a tag that was replaced with a different tag. I conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon investigating, the driver had the correct tag in her vehicle. She stated her husband was terminally ill and she has not been able to change the tag out. I had the proper tools in my vehicle and changed the tag for her to avoid any further issues with the vehicle. I received a letter of recognition from the Chief of the department stating that is the type of public assistance that makes the community trust the officers they are dealing with. The act of kindness did not go unnoticed.

In 2020, while working a patrol, my field training officer (FTO) and I were dispatched to a person who collapsed while doing his yard. Upon arrival, my FTO and I located the man who was not breathing. We moved the patient to the sidewalk and I conducted CPR for approximately 4 minutes while Emergency Medical Personnel were en route and arriving on scene. The male patient was transported to the local hospital and survived. My FTO and I received an honorable service award for the quick actions we took to save the mans life.
