As part of my executive leadership role, I hosted, emceed and presented at local, regional, state and federal gatherings. Through strong leadership, a compelling vision, active listening, equitable planning, as well as a relentless commitment to understanding differences, I have demonstrated success in uniting large groups of individuals around common goals. For example, in 2015, I presented at the World Association for Infant Mental Health in Rome, Italy.

Strong written and verbal communication serves as the foundation for my advocacy efforts. My advocacy is based on strong written and verbal contributions have been recognized by respected organizations, including the David & Lucille Packard Foundation, which honored me as an “innovative leader” at the Innovative Leadership World Conference at Stanford University. I was also named an Outstanding Woman of the 12th Senate District by Senator Anna Caballero demonstrates my political effectiveness by hosting and coordinating regional campaigns and speaking publicly to influence legislative affairs at the state, county and local level

• Facilitated, hosted, emceed and provided support material for ongoing series of training and professional development workshops for local leaders, staff, and volunteers while promoting skill enhancement and team cohesion.
• Developed and implemented public events and outreach initiatives to increase community awareness of early childhood programs and services.

As a consultant, I have success in public speaking, hosting events and developing and uniting countywide coalitions, including Santa Cruz Opportunities in Education, and the Santa Cruz Valley Tourism Council

• Appointed to the National Geographic Geo Tourism Governor Committee
• Appeared on local Sunday morning T.V. station to advance mission, share program information and celebrate achievements
• Facilitated stakeholder workshops to gather insights and foster collaboration among diverse groups.
• Appointed to the Tourism Alliance Marketing Board and served as host and emcee to regional partners
• Presented to the Arizona tourism governing body, including the Governor, on project updates

Organized an effort to establish a quality school in Santa Cruz Valley, Arizona through public outreach campaigns. As the "face" of the school, I presented to large groups of parents, local officials and potential funders. The school hosted community events, fund raisers and educational series, all of which I served as the emcee.

Volunteers were gathered, trained and valued as part of our core community of support for each of event. The emphasis was on creating a quality and welcoming environment.
