I have worked as a Registered Nurse and paused my career when I became a mother. I have had the privilege to be the primary caregiver for my family for years as my husband pursued his career. I certainly utilized many attributes of nursing as I provided care for my first born with Autism as well as our other children and aging parents. I worked briefly when my children were quite young and enjoyed collaborating with another mother who was a doctor in Chiropractic Medicine. Her holistic approach was a rewarding experience. After my children left for college, I worked for a retail store and quickly became the team lead and manager for the owner. This was an enjoyable experience that allowed me to merge my organizational skills and professionalism with the relaxed atmosphere of fashion and retail sales.
In my free time, I have enjoyed contributing to managing the Minnetonka Girls Rugby team. I’ve helped my husband coach and manage the team for almost 10 years.
