Before promoting to Correctional Corporal on December 04, 2022 I, started as a Correctional Officer with Bledsoe County Correctional Complex on September 03, 2013 and held this titled until I promoted to Corporal. I held several positions as a officer from housing units, yard, kitchen officer, mobiles-over seeing the perimeter, count room, working with the mentally challenge inmates and control officer. My duties as and officer was keeping count of the inmates by making sure of their location, being responsible for their safety, making sure they followed rules and regulations, holding them accountable for their actions. Conducting my irregular 30 minute security checks and keeping my log book information recorded.
My duties as an officer consisted of dealing with adult offenders Males / Females. We have have a complex that can house up to a total of 300 females at our facility.
