Created a project where students had to care for and carry around a "baby" in a wearable carrier for two weeks. At the completion of the project, they created a powerpoint summary of the project with pictures and emotional reaction.

Created lesson plans to teach how to apply makeup for specific looks, in a step by step format.

Instructed students how to create the following effects: old age, bruises, black eyes, cuts, lacerations, burns, stapled cuts, zombie bites and demonstrated various materials to get the same effect.

Required students to research a career as an SFX makeup artist in terms of salary, growth potential, and venues where an SFX artist might be needed.
