Summary

I joined the DC Metropolitan Police Department in April 1, 1996 and I retired on April 10, 2021, I was a sworn Police Officer for twenty-five years. After a short 10-month retirement, I was hired by the Francis Marion University Police Department, in Florence, South Carolina, as a police dispatcher. In 2023, I felt the need to again serve the District of Columbia, as a law enforcement officer. In 2023, I was selected to return to the DC Metropolitan Police Department, Criminal Investigations Division, as a sworn Senior Police Officer, where I operate the agencies Pawn Investigation Unit, while contributing my expertise assisting the Domestic Violence Intake Center and providing continued community outreach and training in the area of domestic violence. I currently work in the capacity of Acting-Sergeant.
