Additional Information

In 2020, I was encouraged to run for LISD Board of Trustees to fill the seat of one of my favorite former teachers and was fortunate enough to be elected. It has been challenging at times but I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the public school system including school finance, setting district policy (including curriculum, student conduct, budgeting, and hiring practices,) reviewing bids, approving contracts, and long-term strategic planning for the District regarding the college, career, and military readiness of our student population.
