During my sales internship with Residential Elevators, I had the opportunity to shadow a seasoned sales associate. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into customer interactions and the intricacies of managing job sites. Moreover, I honed essential skills like time management and a strong work ethic, which will undoubtedly serve me well in my future endeavors.
My internship as a golf cart technician at Jeffrey Allen Inc. was a hands-on experience where I dedicated my time to diagnosing and repairing various issues with golf carts, enhancing my technical skills. Additionally, I had the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, further developing my communication and problem-solving abilities. This internship also gave me a unique glimpse into the inner workings of a company, offering insights into its operations beyond the technician's role.
During my time as a lifeguard and swim instructor, my primary responsibility was ensuring the safety of pool patrons, but I also took on leadership roles. I had the privilege of overseeing newer lifeguards, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. As one of the lead guards, I successfully managed a team and took charge of maintaining and repairing pool equipment, enhancing my problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
I am actively engaged in the Air Force ROTC program, where I hold a leadership position within the detachment, responsible for mentoring and coaching younger cadets, nurturing their growth and development. This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Officer Field Training, where I not only excelled but also graduated in the top 10% of the encampment comprising 400 cadets. My recognition as a distinguished graduate speaks to my dedication and commitment to excellence in my Air Force officer journey, reflecting my aspiration to serve with distinction in the United States Air Force.
