Accomplishments

My junior year of the Automotive Technician program I brought in a friends vintage 1938 Plymouth Coupe, where we did a pretty simple engine swap. The swap consisted of removing the old worn out 307 SBC that was in the car when it was presented to me and replacing it with a Blueprint built 383 Stroker Motor. This engine consisted of an original 1979 350 SBC 4-bolt main, paired with many performance parts including Molly rings, Aluminum Dart II cylinder heads topped with hydraulic roller-rockers, a Lunati camshaft. An Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold, a scat-stroker crankshaft and a Pete Jackson "Noisy" timing chain assembly. We squeezed this engine into the bay of this tiny vintage car, bolted it up into the already installed built Turbo 350 transmission. You might be wondering how? The car was already equipped with many SBC components, the front clip was replaced with a 1979 Z28 Camaro front clip. The rear end was from a 1970 Chevelle. We added multiple "cherries ontop" like Hydro-boost brakes powering a Drum to Disc swap, and we added a Detroit True-Trac locking rear end.
