Designed a trebuchet for the UTSA Pumpkin Smash competition. Our team won the event by prioritizing consistency over power in our design. Our focus on achieving reliable and repeatable performance paid off, leading us to victory.

INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY LABORATORY, UT HEALTH SA, Spring 2024 - Present, 

• Working on shockwave intravascular lithotripsy, a device that fractures calcified lesions to enable effective stent deployment.

ADVANCED BIOPHOTONICS AND NANOTECHNOLOGY LABORATORY, UTSA, Spring 2024 - Present, 

• Working on new breast cancer treatments targeting HER2/neu and EGFR receptors using photoacoustic imaging and fluorescence sensing to characterize tumors in vivo.

MEDICAL DESIGN INNOVATION LAB, UTSA, Spring 2023 - Spring 2024, 

• Worked in the MDI Lab to develop a multistage polymer delivery system for controlled release of active ingredients, enhancing effectiveness and reducing side effects.

• Implementation Director Officer and Co-founder of QL+ Student Chapter at UTSA, designing assistive technologies to improve the lives of Veterans with disabilities; currently overseeing the implementation of three projects.

• Member contributing to the design of a gravity-fed water pump system for La Esperanza, Guatemala
