HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
  
The Senior Accounts Payable Associate - Vendor Maintenance will ensure that the needs of the company, vendors and plant personnel are consistently met. This includes completing all Accounts Payable functions timely and accurately while working in a fast paced, high performance culture.

* Enter and maintain vendor records in the vendor master including 1099 Process
* Perform IRS TIN matching as well as banking validation.
* Support Lehigh Hanson locations in timely processing of vendor record setups and vendor changes.
* Establish and maintain open communication with vendors, as well as internal and external customers.
* Provide timely customer service for all calls, emails and questions from vendors, internal/ external customers.
* Organize supporting documentation to include filing, scanning preparation and packaging documents storage.
* Special projects as assigned by management
  
This position will be based at our corporate office in Irving, Texas. HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of two (2) years previous accounts payable experience.
* Experience in 1099 processing a must.
* Experience in IRS TIN matching a plus.
* Ability to work overtime to meet changing deadlines. Overtime is required at month-end close.
* Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times.
* Ability to work well as part of a team environment, with a comfort level working independently as required.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Desire and commitment to working in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
* Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office and enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), JDE, SAP proficiency a plus.
