My purpose, I believe, is to light up my corner of the world with my empathy, compassion, experience and education. In doing this, and joining others, we can help better the lives of those in need.
I started this journey as a teenager and while obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Human Services and working 7 years in the field, I was exposed to much diversity and my quest has continued since that time.
I made the decision to stay home and dedicate my time to my children and the community through volunteer work. I then started a business that allowed me to support my family as a single parent into my children's adulthood.
My desire to help others has brought me to this search for a position that will allow me to use my years of knowledge, experience and empathy to help those in need.
Specifically, my passion is focused on children's needs in order for them to grow into healthy, compassionate and resourceful individuals.
