Served on detail as an ABC Stakeholder Engagement Associate in the External Affairs Division. Served as the lead point of contact for the Community Bank Advisory Council (CBAC) and its external stakeholders. Engaged council members on a regular basis to obtain feedback on how CFPB can better serve community banks and their members. Established and moderated non-public subcommittee engagements on a quarterly basis to provide council members with updates on trending Bureau topics, and topics of interest to all council members. Provided members with summary readouts of each subcommittee engagement and collected feedback from each engagement to assist in formulating future engagements. Served as a liaison to connect council members with respective subject matter expert Bureau staff, when inquiries were brought to the community banks from their members. Served on an eight-month detail as an Outreach Specialist in the Consumer Education and Engagement Division. Key contributor in conducting in-depth internal reviews of education materials for the K-12 financial education curriculum. Created summaries of key information retrieved from the CFPB Daily News Briefing, as relevant to the scope of work in the division. Reviewed track changes on public facing forms and disclosures, both in English and Spanish-translated. Reviewed translated glossaries to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the use of translated forms. Served on a four-month detail as the temporary team lead for Supervision’s Quality Management Program (QMP). Key contributor in conducting complex internal quality control reviews of Supervision’s own policies and procedures as it pertained to workpapers and violations, as entered into the Supervision Examination System (SES). Responsible for ensuring each review was consistent with the requirements and findings of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and consistent with QMP’s strategy. Served as a liaison with other CFPB offices, regulatory agencies, and the OIG to provide information on the program’s quality management efforts.

Key contributor in conducting complex examination work, developing, presenting, and discussing examination findings, recommendations, and required corrective actions with the executive management of depository financial institutions and non-depository consumer financial services companies (regulated entities) worth $10 Billion or more in assets.
