Special Skills, Qualifications and Training

Twenty years’ experience working in the field of prevention within the Menominee Community, most currently focused on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. During this time, I applied for and received my Prevention Specialist certification for the state of WI which is kept current. I’ve completed training to become a certified QPR trainer and assist in offering trainings within the Menominee community, Menominee schools and surrounding area. I am also a sitting board member of the Menominee Nation Youth Athletics initiative which strives to support the physical, mental, and social development of Menominee youth through accessible, culturally grounded sports programs that promote leadership, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
