• Mission Acceleration, Center for Research Evaluation (CERE): Lead statistical analysis using R programming language (RStudio) to clean, wrangle, and analyze datasets spanning multiple academic semesters and employed appropriate statistical techniques to predict the effect of tutoring dosage on student scores.
• Analysis of Acute Care Hospital Quality in the USA (Senior Project): Used R to wrangle ~30 independent datasets, applied statistical/machine learning techniques to predict hospital quality, developed an R Shiny application for patient use, and created a Markdown report.
• Research Office Bot: Developed an AI-powered chat application for searching across research-related university resources and guidelines. Currently developing an out-of-the-box solution for personalized usage across various departments.
• Healthcare Quality Measures Data Simulation Study (WIP): Monte Carlo simulation quantifying ecological bias in estimation of validity using the R ‘simstudy’ package (RStudio).
• Introduction to R for Data Science Workshop: Introduced methods of importing, wrangling, and visualizing data using the R ‘tidyverse’ package collection (RStudio).
• Introduction to Python for Data Science Workshop: Introduced methods of importing, viewing, and inspecting data using the Python ‘pandas’ library (Google Colab).
• Introduction to Ethics and Bias in Artificial Intelligence Workshop: Introduced bias in AI, ethical concepts of fairness and accuracy, and methods for preventing algorithmic bias.
