Bicycle touring, gardening, community and church volunteer

I have ridden RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) 34 times, and did a cross-country ride in 1995, led groups of 20-60 cycling friends on three-week tours through different places in our country.

My garden is for sharing its produce with others.

My church and community are small and our family often volunteers with many projects to sustain and maintain its vitality.  Most noteable is the week-long daily Vacation Bible School program I have directed for 18 years.
