My priority is patient safety during laser hair removal treatments. This starts with a thorough assessment, safe handling of laser equipment, patient education, and accurate documentation. I regularly offer non-pharmaceutical pain management techniques during treatments, and triage phone calls regarding treatment complications or concerns.

Provided care to women and infants during labor, delivery, and recovery. Whether in a birthing room or circulating in the operating room. This included patient education, medication administration, physical exams, vital signs checks, and fetal heart monitoring. In this position I also performed phone and in-person triage for expecting mothers.

Managing schedules, payroll, and our office’s daily functions. Communicating with client insurance companies to ensure coverage. I thoroughly enjoyed working in another side of healthcare in this mental health clinic, which offered therapy, nutrition counseling, acupuncture, and yoga.

Working in a family medicine clinic there were many different roles I took on: answering phone calls, sending notes to physicians, and nursing staff, scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and I worked as super user during our transition to EPIC in 2020. I also took on a lead position in my last nine months, my team felt comfortable approaching me with questions and concerns.
