  • This small publication was the lowest revenue-producing newspaper of the seven publications
  • The only highlight of this position was that unlike the other local newspaper territories (The Madison Source, Guilford Courier, The Branford Sound, etc.), this territory allowed for prospecting outside of the town lines
  • As such, I worked strategically selling to hospitals (Yale, Middlesex, Hartford Hospital), as well as colleges & universities (UCONN, Gateway, SCSU, CT College), and large accounts such as Eversource
  • In addition, I spear-headed the transition of the weekly grocery flyers (Big Y, Stop & Shop, ShopRite) from The Shoreline Times to Shore Publishing Newspapers, which was a three-year process within which I managed the sales strategy for this pivotal transition over our competition

In 2014 I won the "Homes of Distinction" selling award for a "Zero Carbon" eco-friendly luxury home project sponspored by Tribune media.


In 2011, I won a "New England Newspaper Association" award for best local ad for an luxury magazine ad I designed for a Plastic Surgeon/Dermatologist firm.


In 2019, I organized a grass roots effort to stop the deforestation of 25 acres of "core forest" in my home town which would have decimated property values and the ecological integrity of that region.
