  • Help brainstorm and plan activities for the church calendar
  • Help with potluck, get plates and silverware for snacks after church, set up and clean up for events
  • Support staff and relief Sunday school teacher. I help prep crafts for children's church, prep science experiments, teach science experiments and crafts as needed, and fill in when other Sunday school teachers are sick or can't make it. I'm also emotional and practical support and help for the Sunday school director. We organize supplies and costumes, brainstorm crafts, and enjoy each other's company as we work together.
  • I also help come up with creative ideas and decorations for our prayer room and put them into practice. This year the theme is Grow, so I brought in a bunch of houseplants, helped paint a chalkboard wall and rearranged furniture to create prayer stations in the space. I also did some original artwork for the space, painted and reupholstered two chairs for a table and chair installation.
