Summary

After graduating from Northumbria University in the summer of 2024, I returned to my hometown of Grantham whilst I figured out what were the next steps in my professional journey. After picking up a retail job I have been working full time, saving enough to move out. I recently returned to the Northeast to live with my partner and have begun to look for the next step in my career. having worked in a range of work environments from industrial to hospitality, I have broad knowledge of how different workforces interact and have developed rich social skills. I have always brought aspects of creativity within my jobs leading to intuitive thinking allowing for problem solving. As we delve further into the new year, I look forward to what is next for my professional life.

  • In this job I worked full time and covered shifts throughout all hours of the day
  • I was delegated a lot of responsibility – including being left to run the shop alone for entire shifts, dealing with closing and cashing up recording the days takings and, sorting pricing up the returns for the daily newspapers and magazines ready to be accredited back to our shop
