  • 1997-2003 - Patrol Officer - Maintained public safety, enforced laws, and responded to emergencies within my assigned area.
  • 1999-2002 U.S. Army Reserve (I took a leave of absence from the police department in order to do this.
  • 2003-2021 - Narcotics Detective . I conducted complex investigations into drug trafficking, gathered intelligence on criminal networks, and participated in joint operations, often in undercover or high-stakes environments. I coordinated multi-agency raids, analyzed evidence, and used surveillance techniques to dismantle organized crime groups. I prepared and executed search warrants, oftentimes creating a volatile environment.
  • 2014 - I successfully completed the Miami-Dade Special Response Team (SRT/SWAT) school, first female in the history of the department to do so.
  • 2021-2024 - worked in Court Services serving evictions.


  • Participated in hundreds of training courses hosted by the DEA, the FBI, and the Miami Dade Police Department. These trainings include, but are not limited to, drug identification, surveillance and counter-surveillance techniques, undercover operations, search and seizure techniques, interview and interrogation skills, advanced tactical firearms courses, and crisis intervention.
