- 1997-2003 - Patrol Officer - Maintained public safety, enforced laws, and responded to emergencies within my assigned area.
- 1999-2002 U.S. Army Reserve (I took a leave of absence from the police department in order to do this.
- 2003-2021 - Narcotics Detective . I conducted complex investigations into drug trafficking, gathered intelligence on criminal networks, and participated in joint operations, often in undercover or high-stakes environments. I coordinated multi-agency raids, analyzed evidence, and used surveillance techniques to dismantle organized crime groups. I prepared and executed search warrants, oftentimes creating a volatile environment.
- 2014 - I successfully completed the Miami-Dade Special Response Team (SRT/SWAT) school, first female in the history of the department to do so.
- 2021-2024 - worked in Court Services serving evictions.
- Participated in hundreds of training courses hosted by the DEA, the FBI, and the Miami Dade Police Department.
