ExtremeHedonism is a second generation Puerto Rican/Korean American LA Native, a talented transmasculine music artist and producer and DJ under the name ExtremeHedonism. He has founded Stoner Records and Mercury Retrograde the band. He is also a 3D conceptual artist, performance artist, filmmaker and writer.
He has spent most his life artistically and professionally in the music industry, with roots in RnB, jazz, hip-hop, gospel, choirs, bedroom pop, anti-pop, contemporary, and the singer/songwriter genre. ExtremeHedonism is a skilled music engineer, vocalist, and MIDI/composer keyboardist. Exodus is also a flute player and is into sound healing with hz frequencies and sound healing instruments such as soundbowls, and has basic play knowledge of drums, bass, and guitar.
He has been a force in his local music scene; engineering for other musicians and himself, teaching music production with students that went on to dedicate their lives to such modes, being an all in one singer/songwriter/producer/performer/composer,producing multiple tracks and albums and collaborating, and participating in professional industry and community shows, choirs, art collectives, and groups. With a knack for artistic and film experimental projects, he has worked with Anatola Araba and Yuqiao Zhang, as well as filmmaker Isaiah Johnson. ExtremeHedonism believes on transcending difficult experiences through art. His work is on all streaming platforms and Youtube under ExtremeHedonism and he has also written many of unpublished pieces and books of poetry and non-fiction, he is also a featured painter and 3D conceptual artist at Uzumaki Gallery in Los Angeles during the ongoing pandemic in 2021.Exodus graduated California State Long Beach with a liberal arts B.A in English Literature and is set to graduate from California Institute of the Arts in May 2025 with a Masters in Performance and Composition and well as Integrative Media. Exodus has had mentorship with Jake Viator, and has worked with John Baffa, Amy Knoles, Celia Hollander, Volker Straebel, Tim Feeney.. ExtremeHedonism has been working with a group with Keelan Walters, Brody Scott, Nigel Fregozo, and Matthew Haramia in a duo Dogmaticka and as an 8 piece improv band. In the future ExtremeHedonism intends on opening Stoner Records, an indie music label based in Hollywood, then going into philanthropy introducing sound production courses to public schools.
