Human Resource Manager
- Senior Leadership Team Member – Experience in a leadership liaison role and the ability to guide complex change. .Serve as a key HR leadership partner for all client groups within the facility, contributing to overall strategic direction and decision-making. Identify needs and process for improvement opportunities
- Collaborative HR Functions – Partner with company shared services and Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Labor Relations, Learning and Development) to deliver seamless HR solutions.
- Employee Relations & Coaching – Provide consultation and coaching to managers and supervisors on employee relations, collective bargaining interpretations, disciplinary actions, and other HR matters. Solicit employee feedback to assess the state of the organization;
- HR Resource for Employees – Act as a trusted resource for employees, resolving HR-related inquiries, conflicts, and workplace issues while maintaining a positive work environment. Demonstrate value of employee feedback by demonstrating through action or acknowledgement and communicate in a meaningful way.
- Investigation & Compliance – Handle employee relations issues, conducting HR investigations in partnership with legal counsel and labor relations, ensuring compliance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Recruiting & Talent Acquisition – Develop, execute recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried positions, including strategy development, candidate screening, and successful onboarding. Devised hiring and recruitment policies for 300 employee facility.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives – Implement and lead employee engagement programs, including monthly state-of-the-business meetings and small group employee discussions, fostering constructive feedback and continuous communication.
- Talent Development – Act as an HR consultant to supervisors and department managers on appropriate learning and growth opportunities. Identify and act on for individuals and teams to foster development and professional growth.
- Compliance & Audits – Ensure adherence to corporate and facility compliance initiatives, including SEDEX/SMETA audits, SQF annual plant audits, FSC audits, and Pactiv Evergreen internal facility audits.
