Managed daily operations of a busy restaurant and bar, working closely with the owner and head chef.

• Hired and supervised front of house staff, managed staffing schedule, processed payroll, placed orders through distributors, and updated restaurant website
• Reduced front of house labor costs from 17% to 12% in 2 years by strictly managing floor staff and revamping scheduling system
• Organized successful charity events including raising over $2000 for victims of 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami

Taught ESL to elementary and junior high students in rural mountain village.
