Before I was even old enough to work officially, Dolan made a Facebook post looking for help picking rocks. I showed up that same day, along with a few others. While most of the guys eventually quit, I stuck with it and kept working even after they left. My dedication stood out, and I ended up getting a call back—this time with better pay.

At the time, I was just a sophomore in high school, and he even offered me a chance to join his company long-term. Instead, I chose to pursue college. Before I left, he gave me a strong recommendation, which helped me land a job at Knotty Oar Marina.
