• Assisted in helping teach classmates and elders about the Queer history of New York;
• Used my knowledge of my community to help tutor and assist classmates in workloads assigned by the teacher

• Helped aid in the creation of a fashion show ran by my school fashion club.

As a dedicated member of the Black Student Union, I actively contributed to the club's mission of fostering unity, empowerment, and cultural awareness within our school community.

This opportunity also transitioned into a black student ran fashion show which allowed me to contribute hand made garments and also allowed me to help with the setup process of the event itself. Which included me handling heavy things, transporting items and hanging up decoratio
ns.
