I was in a 4-H club, called Hooves and Paws for about eight years. In this club, we did a lot of community service, such as organizing food pantries. As I got older, I became a mentor for the young girls that were also in the club. I held positions on the club's executive board for four years straight. Serving as the treasurer, secretary, then president for two years before I aged out of 4-H.
Additionally, I currently serving as the Vice President of Recruitment for my sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma at Central Michigan University. This position has allowed me to channel my creative and organizational skills as I plan recruitment. This entails creating vision boards for events, organizing and executing these events, promoting our social media, marketing to potential new members, and teaching current sorority sisters how to recruit.
