I snagged this awesome internship at SCGC, a venture capital firm that's all about finding the next big thing. My days were packed with digging deep into market research, getting the lowdown on the latest trends, and seeing what's buzzing in the business world. But it wasn't all behind-the-desk stuff. I actually got to hit the road with my boss. We'd connect with the owners, hear their stories, and see firsthand what made their companies tick. It wasn't just about sipping coffee and nodding along. After those meet-ups, analyzing everything to figure out if these companies had the 'it' factor we were looking for. The goal? To see if they were worthy of our investment.
