Being a LOTO III has very high expectations when it comes to knowing how to safely and properly lockout electrical systems. I also have a very good grasp on how to troubleshoot a turbine and I'm very confident with reading electrical schematics/diagrams. By being a LOTO III, I can create LOTO forms and approve them. I am also very proficient with pdf files, word documents, excel spreadsheets and knowing how to read work instructions to make sure how to the job properly and safely. Safety will forever be my #1 focus, I always make sure me and my crew get home safely, so I take it very seriously.
Climbed towers daily to inspect, troubleshoot and repair turbine equipment. Repaired various systems by restoring electrical, mechanical and hydraulic functions. Adjusted and repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. Performed root cause analysis on wind turbine tower component failures. Made sure to be very professional and be safe all day long.
I am currently traveling for the Cim 4271 project. In November of 2020 I was in Iowa upgrading the V110 blades in the Greenfield site and would cover for some leads that were off to their R&R. In March of 2021 I was deployed to the Nobles site in Minnesota. I was task specific LOTO certified on the V110 and V136 turbines. I was a lead for the V110 turbines to help get those blades done. I June of 2021i began working on the V136 repairs in Nobles. In mid August we finished the reworks in Nobles then got deployed to Brightstalk in Illinois and currently do LOTO this site.
I was in the build team for the shells department. I receive material to build and form the wind turbine's blade. I make sure all of the material is nice and flat. I always make sure everything is at its best quality and as fast also. I also always make sure everything is cleaned up during or after the build.
I installed tile, hardwood, LVT(Luxury Vinyl Tile), and LVP(Luxury Vinyl Planks). I mostly installed tile most of the time. While I was there I also did some demolitions before I could install the flooring. When I had to install tile on a shower wall, I had to remove the drywall and install new drywall. Another I had to do is remove the moldings so I can start installing flooring and after installing the floor I would have to install the moldings again.
