During a security check I observed an inmate with shoe laces around his neck attached to the top of rail of his bunk hanging in his cell and render aid as soon as possible.  I provided first aid by applying CPR in accordance to the provided yearly training format.  Inmate received aid in a timely manner and life saving mesurements were proven effective.
