Reshaping Global Crude Oil Dynamics: The Impact of Western Sanctions on Russian Exports

• This research paper aims to analyze Russian crude exports before and after the Russian invasion of Ukraine of 2022. Additionally, this paper looks to look at the impact of Western sanctions on Russian crude exports. This research paper was presented at The University of Tulsa Roserock Conference on November 15th, 2023.

• Worked with Magellan's commercial crude group to analyze crude market fundamentals such as production forecasts, supply/demand balances, and import/export flows.

• Worked with Crude Market Analysis group to optimize their process of forecasting crude runs using datasets such as Wood Mackenzie's Genscape, Kpler export data, and Industrial Info Resources (IIR) turnaround data.

• Performed a SWOT analysis on energy efficiency initiatives to help the company obtain a better market share in Kansas

• Developed imitate knowledge of land acquisition and the processes associated with creating oil and gas leases by engaging in various assignments paired with senior land analysts.
