  • As a United States Marine, I have encountered a tremendous number of challenges that I have overcome throughout my training in the Marine Corps
  • Some of my greatest accomplishments I have earned throughout my training was earning the title of a United States Marine, being put in a position where I was guide (a position where you are in charge of a number of marines) for a platoon of 50 Marines during my schoolhouse training
  • Some of the responsibilities were leading platoon through workout and runs/hikes, making sure platoon was up and ready for formation and inspection, going over the plan of the day with platoon, etc
  • The Marine Corps has strengthened me physically, mentally, spiritually, as well as adapting and overcoming any situation
  • A few skills I have gained throughout my time in the Marine Corps Combat skills and tactics with MA4 (Rifle) and M42B (Machinegun), help lead a platoon of 50 marines throughout school house, Certified to operate 7 ton MTVR and LVSR, PMC's (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services) on military vehicles (7 ton MTVR/LVSR), trailers and SO-3 crates, Lead a convoy to specific locations, deliver any tools or necessities to different selections with 7 ton MTVR through rocky dirt roads, incline/decline mountain hills, ECP ( a position where you notify the commanding officer know who's entering our specific location through communicating with radio )
  • I am currently in a Artillery unit in Seal Beach, I am in the reserves, which means I work one weekend out of the month, unless required to work more days.
