• In charge of assigned inspectors, maintainers and helpers engaged in the maintenance, installation, inspection, testing, alteration, and repair of subway and elevated multiple-unit cars, service cars, locomotives, associates car shops and yards. Including machine work, painting, electrical and mechanical repairs to car bodies, car trucks, car brakes, motors and shop equipment.
• Prepare Reports for shop superintendent

Under supervision, tested, maintained,inspected,lubricated and made repairs and adjustments on any part of the transit Authority's multiple-unit cars, service cars shop and shop equipment in the car shops, terminals, yards and on the road. Also examined, cleaned and troubleshooted electrical,electronic equipment, pneumatic equipment,body and truck rigging,air conditioning, truck test, test equipment downloads and motor equipment.

Worked on subway car bodies, mechanical and pneumatic equipment, inspected air compressors, tested belts, replaced worn belts and made necessary adjustments. Checked controllers, batteries, lights and panel boards for proper operation and defects.

While in revenue service, in charge of train and responsible for the safety, regularity and proper care of trains. Responsible for complete operation of doors, and to make sure passengers entrain/detrain safely without injuries. when assigned to handswitching, responsible for the safe passage of trains over manually operated switches. When assigned to Platform duty, rendered such assistance needed to maintained the scheduled movement of trains and took necessary precautions to guard customers against accidents and annoyance.
