Rainbow Removal was an independently owned company that specialized in respectful care for people of the LGBTQIA community.

• Assisted in preparation, preservation and shipment of remains.
• Picked up and delivered deceased at private homes, hospitals and county morgues.
• Filled out and delivered proper paperwork regarding the deceased and their belongings to funeral homes, body donation companies, and the medical examiners office.

First Call Mortuary Services is a large scale mortuary operation that provides services to funeral homes, donation companies, as well as the Multnomah and Calacamas County Medical Examiners offices . Beyond my responsibilities as a removal tech I also:

• Trained new Removal technicians
• Designed and built a website for FCMS
• Worked as dispatch for the Removal Techs
• Properly prepared the deceased for air travel
• Covered for the cremationist's when they were unable to work
• Funeral attendant at multiple locations
• Assisted with post autopsy repair work
• Cleaned the vans and removal supplies

• Welcomed families and visitors into facility and guided into appropriate visitation rooms or chapel.
• Prepared facilities for funeral visitations and memorial services, arranging chairs and flower arrangements and setting up sign-in books and memorial cards.
• Drove company vehicles to transport remains or families to services.
• Transported caskets from morgue to reserved rooms to prepare caskets for viewing.
