• Work Schedule: M- F 7 am - 3 pm 40 hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Prepared environmental samples (soils & water) for chemical analysis.
• Recorded work in daily lab logbooks.
• Maintained safe, tidy and organized laboratory environment for accurate test results.
• Prepared glassware, reagents, and lab equipment.
• Trained new laboratory personnel to apply proper laboratory techniques and best practices.

• Work Schedule: M-Th 8 am - 1 pm 20 hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Collaborated with BLELC partners to design and execute studies focusing on various ecological factors including soil, water, and vegetation.
• Monitor wildlife activity.
• Organize community outreach programs.
• Attended meetings and presentations to learn ongoing project details.

• Work Schedule: Th-Sun 8 am - 12 pm 20 hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Planted and harvested organic produce for local community.
• Participated in outreach programs focusing on sustainability, conservation, soil and water quality, and food systems.
• Conducted soil testing to determine nutrient levels and soil composition.
• Tended to fields and kept them well-maintained.
