PT Solutions Outpatient Shadowing 

• Shadowed physical therapist throughout a month long period
• Experienced different types of rehabilitation exercises and techniques
• Helped out by putting away and getting out exercise equipment when asked
• Watched how each physical therapist could easily change their exercise plans based off the patients pain and ability to certain exercises that day
• Learned about all different types of injuries and what exercises target them

Dominica Physical Therapy Trip 

• Toured Dominica's main hospital and learned how they ran things
• Went to two different Elderly homes gave them simple exercises, talked to them, and learned about why they were there
• Went to a kids school with disabilities and did activities with them to test their balance, mobility, and thinking skills
• Did in home services for a day and gave the patients exercises and activities to do that utilized their space
• Had a physical therapist that worked on the island come in and speak about how her experience is working there and how much of a need it is in certain places
• Toured Dominica's own physical therapy school and got to see their classrooms, the library, and what they learn
