Lyndsy Tracy

As a bartender of the Eagles, we first must take an alcohol serving course to insure that as a bartender, we know the signs of intoxication and verifying age of the patrons coming in. Being a part of the Fraternal order of the Eagles has been a wonderful experience, as we do many charitable fundraisers, and I get the honor of serving guests for many different events such as; wedding receptions, funerals/celebration of life gatherings and much more, this requires professionalism and gives me the opportunity to serve many different kinds of people through out the community, I am responsible for large amounts of money during each shift, and must log the inventory of certain items used during that shift.

As a bookkeeper, I prepare the resisters for the oncoming shift by recording sales from the day before, this requires me to ready the deposits, collect change orders, and reset our gambling machines to get our second drawer to the correct amount after pay outs. This has given me experience in financial management, record keeping and being attentive to detail.

I am also a two year officer and trustee on the auxiliary board of the Eagles. This is rewarding, as we host many events to raise money for the community, such as college scholarships that are given out each year, mothers day events and much more, as a way to provide assistance to our community.
