A dedicated student with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, I am seeking admission to the Master of Psychology program at Pepperdine University. My goal is to utilize my cultural anthropology background to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment for my future clients. Drawing on my experience as a Teaching Assistant, where I maintained a nurturing environment for children, and my administrative role in a health field, providing me insights into effective patient communication, I am committed to pursuing a career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Ultimately, I aim to establish a private practice focused on providing compassionate and culturally competent mental health services to underserved children.
