Onset Worldwide Employee Training Manual

A full stack web application built for our development team's client, Onset Worldwide. The development team has six total members, and all work together to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Key responsibilities include: designing the database schema, writing routes for the web app in Rust, writing SQL queries to update the database storing said information, and attending weekly meetings with our client, updating them on project progress. 

GamerMatch Web App

A web application built for matching Steam users on a few parameters. Users can match with each other based on achievement status for a game,  on game library similarity or based on playtime by game. Key responsibilities for this project were: retrieving SteamAPI data required for the app, creating functions to match users based on the aforementioned parameters, handle all of the data in an internal mongo database, caching relevant data for easier re-use, and deployment of the website on Digital Ocean.

ESQL Project

A project which served to implement a new relational algebra operation, phi, which would reduce the complexity of aggregate and grouping queries. The goal of the operator was to remove the need for creating new views and tables for aggregate computation, which would be joined later. Instead, the new operator allows for more succinct query expressions, which can compute the aggregates define and do not require any more additional tables or joins. The project was done in a pair programming environment on one laptop shared between three people.

OtakuOracle Web App

A web app built for generating anime recommendations for users. A user can either input a list of ID's or supply their MyAnimeList username and the website will generate unique recommendations for the user based on the input. The app ensures that the generated recommendations are always 100% unique, and something the user has not seen yet. This was a group project, and the key responsibilities I had were: writing data functions for mongoDB storage, writing data functions which would retrieve information through MAL API calls, and writing an API wrapper to counteract issues that came with the MAL API's inconsistent rate limits.

Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Man

A web app which handles downloading and sorting of Cyberpunk 2077 mods into their appropriate destination folders. The web app utilizes NexusMods API to get information such as the mod name, mod version, and prerequisite mods, such that the app can perform version control and notify the user of updates. A local script checks the downloads folder and moves the mods into their appropriate destination folders.
