MacKenna Hanson

• Currently Attending (I was accepted into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a $100,000 merit scholarship for my excellency in academics and artistry).
• I’m majoring in Studio Art, with the end goal of earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts.
• I’ve excelled in all of my classes, completing my assignments on time and to a high standard.
• I’ve had to juggle several projects at once every day, which has sharpened my time management skills and my mental and physical endurance
• I do particularly well in my Humanities and Art History courses, especially Humanities—which tests and expands my mental acuity and my writing skills.

At Alchemy, I worked as an art gallery docent and restaurant hostess. I became adept at quick problem solving, organization, and positive customer experience while working in a high-volume environment.

As an intern for artist Daniel McClendon, who owns The Lift Studios, I assisted in physical labor around the studio, answered any questions customers had regarding the gallery and the art within, and acted as a representative for Mr. McClendon.
