Body

I am highly interested in the Registered Nurse position in the Labor and Delivery Unit of your Woman’s facility. I will graduate from Nebraska Methodist College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May 2023 and will take the NCLEX at my first opportunity. The commitment to caring for people identified in your mission statement resonates with me. My recent clinical rotations your Labor and Delivery floor as well as the Mother Baby floor gave me experiences with laboring mothers, as well as providing care for those who are recovering and their newborns. In addition to my nursing skills, I am an experienced Anesthesia Technician with three years of experience working in the Methodist Operating Room. Some of my strengths are: attention to detail, the ability to think several steps ahead, and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations. I have been recognized for my ability to work well with others as well as teach those in need. I am focused, energetic, and enjoy keeping busy; additionally, I am interested in expanding my nursing experience in this specialty. I am currently a full-time student who is working casually as an Anesthesia Technician at Methodist Hospital. I can be available for employment as soon as late July, 2023. A letter and resume provide only a snapshot, and I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you in person. I will contact you within a few days to discuss the next step. I believe I would be an excellent candidate for an upcoming position and would be thrilled if you would give me the opportunity to contribute to the success of the Nebraska Methodist Hospital System. I look forward to meeting you, and please do not hesitate to contact me at 402-321-0169. Sincerely, Mackenzi R. Bergstrom
